For Bite's Zoom In article, they conjured up a list of recommendations on what one should've done the past year (or can still do for the next year). Checking against the list, I have only so far done the following:
2. Watch Confessional, the movie
4. Be a member of an Indie band and curse Bisrock
8. have your photo taken at a party and find it weeks later in a magazine
9. Support your local artists by going to a gig that charges and entrace or cover
11. Take a picnic in the new Terraces area of Ayala Malls, and wonder what happened to the lagoon (haven't done the picnic, but the wondering, yes...)
18. Try to walk along any of the city's sidewalks and wonder why you break your ankle or fall through a mysterious dark hole
19. Thank your lucky stars if you do find a sidewalk
30. Talk to a local artist in Turtles Nest
31. Read the BITE Magazine of the person standing in front of you
34. Admire the graffiti art opposite C@$ on Juan Luna Avenue
37. ...Then go and look at the Magellan's Cross
38. Ask granny about her wartime stories
51. Keep everything. Throw away nothing.
56. Go ukay-ukay shopping fro some cool imported rags
