and most likely, it's a box i'll be at the end of all this; like the box that mesmerizes people into virtual reality, sitting there on the largest part of any Filipino household, the living room--the epitome of Filipino hospitality, the cleanliness of which is ensured no matter what hell may come to the household. and in the middle sits the box, a window of definite shape, smooth and flat. and everyone that runs around outside this window carries a head shaped like a box too. after 24 hours of watching the ads of fair skin and shiny hair, you feel the fakeness creep to you, shaping your own head into the same box.
